The Ukrainian air force said on Thursday that about 20 Iranian-made drones were shot down in Kyiv’s airspace. Wednesday night’s Russian attack, which happened just hours after the end of a NATO summit in Lithuania, was the third in a row on Kyiv, according to the air force.

Falling debris was reported in five districts and at least two people were sent to hospital with shrapnel injuries.

The Air Force reported that two Russian Caliber cruise missiles fired from a ship in the Black Sea were shot down by air defences, while information is still being gathered about the impact of the Iskander-M ballistic missile fired from Crimea.
