Ever since the Taliban took over Afghanistan, there seems to be no end to the crisis here. Millions of people in Afghanistan are suffering from starvation and lack of basic amenities since the Taliban took over Afghan lands in August last year, a report has revealed.
Save the Children organization recently released a report stating that Afghanistan is one of the countries facing severe hunger and more than 6.6 million people are facing starvation here.
Save the Children further said that the country with the largest number of people facing severe levels of hunger is Afghanistan, with the number expected to increase from 2.5 million in 2019 to 6.6 million in 2022.
