According to the brief given by the Maharashtra Chief of the Congress Party, Nana Patole, the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress will be organized this time from Gujarat to Meghalaya.

In the first phase of the yatra, Congress aimed to connect with the people at the grassroots level, understand their concerns, and mobilize support for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. During the first leg of the yatra, Rahul Gandhi travelled on foot through 14 states for more than 150 days.
