The Nepali Army has stated that the road leading to the tunnel of the Chilime Hydropower Project has been reopened. According to the Nepal Army, the road has been cleared to allow heavy equipment to reach the tunnel.
The Army said that a joint team, including foreign personnel, is currently working at the hydropower project. According to the Army, the teams are currently engaged in removing mud and debris from the site.
Similarly, search operations are underway at the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project through a Composite Quick Reaction Team and a joint search-and-rescue team that includes foreign personnel, the Army said.
Search operations are also continuing at the Langtang Hydropower Project, according to the Army.
At the Upper Trishuli 1 Hydropower Project, the Nepali Army team conducted a drone-based reconnaissance and search operation in the area around 200 metres of Audit Tunnel 1 at Hakubesi. However, the team did not find anything during the operation, the Army said.
Search operations are also being carried out by a joint team in the powerhouse and tunnel areas of the Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project. The Army said search operations are also continuing at the Trishuli 3B Hydropower Project.
