Rain-triggered rock and landslides in Xian suburbs have led to 21 deaths and six others missing. A landslide occurred in Chang’an district, causing over 980 people to be involved.

Rescue teams searched for the victims, who brought life detectors, satellite phones, and digging equipment.

Two residential houses, roads, power supplies, and communication facilities were damaged, and 186 people were pulled from the rubble. Rescue workers are now working to restore traffic, power supply, and communication services.
