Brazzaville, Congo

Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance Jean-Baptiste Ondaye has said that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will benefit countries worldwide, including the Republic of the Congo.

He highlighted the BRI’s potential for growth and inclusion, citing its potential to reduce the infrastructure divide in African countries.

Ondaye also highlighted the Sino-Congolese Bank for Africa’s role in Congo’s economic development and the digitalization of banking services.

The bank, established in 2015 by the Agricultural Bank of China, has played a crucial role in the country’s economic development and digitalization of banking services.

The initiative reflects the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
