A severe earthquake occurred in China on Sunday morning. The earthquake occurred at 2.33 pm in Dezhou city, 300 km from the capital Beijing. The China Earthquake Network Center (CENC) reported that its intensity was recorded at 5.5 on the Richter scale. State media China Central TV announced that the impact destroyed 74 houses in the city. It said that 10 people were injured.
However, it was learned that there was no loss of life. It is said that the earth shook at a depth of 10 kilometres in the interior of the earth. It is known that there was an earthquake in Afghanistan on Saturday night. A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Hindu Kush mountain range at 9.31 pm.
The epicentre of the earthquake was centred on the border of Afghanistan as well as Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir at a depth of 181 km. But due to its effect, the earth shook in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) as well. Due to this, the residents of the surrounding areas of Delhi ran out of their homes in fear.
