Father and son die in plane crash; watch video

Brazil

A shocking video has surfaced on social media, revealing a father and son flying a private plane in Brazil on July 29. The father, Garon Maia, is seen drinking beer alone while his 11-year-old son flies the plane.

The father, Garon Maia, was seen in the co-pilot’s seat while his son was flying twin-engine Beechcraft Baron 58. Authorities are investigating the father’s actions and the cause of the crash.

The plane crashed close to the ground, with no time to land, and the father’s body was found on July 30, a day after an hours-long search by rescuers. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Research Center. Brazilian law requires a person to be over 18 years of age, a high school graduate, and registered with the National Civil Aviation Agency to fly an Airplane.
