Corona has caused a shadow over the G-20 summit in Delhi, with Spain’s President Pedro Sanchez testing positive for the virus. Sanchez, who was originally scheduled to attend the summit in India, will now be replaced by the Vice President and Foreign Minister of Spain, Nadia Calvino Santamaria.

The Spanish delegation will be represented by the First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation. Previously, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin withdrew from the summit, while representatives from China and Russia will attend.

Argentine President Alberto Fernandez has also arrived in Delhi, while Japan’s PM Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden have left for Delhi. Biden is expected to arrive at 6.55 p.m.
