New Delhi
Heavy traffic jams have been causing problems for drivers in New Delhi due to preparations for the G-20 Summit. The roads, including NH-9, Vikas Marg, and ITO Ring Road, have been blocked for several days due to security drills. Trucks carrying pots for beautification and VVIP routes have also been affected. On Monday, NH 9 experienced a massive traffic jam from morning to afternoon, with ambulances stuck.
The Ring Road also experienced a massive jam due to hundreds of electric buses parked in front of the IP Bus Depot. Trucks with flowerpots were also parked on the roads. A ban on the entry of small and big goods vehicles has caused jams on the Ring Road from September 7 to September 10.
