Xi Jinping said, “The citizens chose me to be the leader of the country, so I always put the citizens in the highest place in the heart. I take the problems of the citizens in the heart, while I fulfill the wishes of the citizens. Xi Jinping’s work is always linked to the citizens.”

While working within Changting County, Hebei Province, Xi Jinping heard the voices of the people here and there while riding a bicycle. While working in the city of Ningtao, Fujian Province, he went to the most remote and difficult places to find out about the life of the people. While working in Changjiang province, Xi Jinping worked day and night to evacuate the typhoon-affected people to safer places.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping has made inspection visits to cities and rural areas more than a hundred times. He always takes care of the problems of the citizens.

Xi Jinping said, “My job is to serve the people. There is fatigue, but there is happiness. We should do more work for the citizens.”
