Winter session of Parliament: There was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha on Monday also on the issue of skirmish between Indian and Chinese army in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh. On Monday, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said, “They (China) are occupying our land.” If we do not discuss this issue then what else will we discuss? We are ready to discuss this issue in the House. ”Meanwhile, the combined opposition staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha after their notice to discuss the India-China border conflict was rejected.
Notice of adjournment motion
Significantly, Congress MPs Manish Tiwari and Manickam Tagore have given an adjournment motion notice in the Lok Sabha over the border skirmish with China and the demand for discussion in the Lok Sabha on the India-China border situation.
