India provided 50 thousand metric tons grains and 200 tons medicines to Afghanistan

India, a close historical civilization, has expressed its support for peace and stability in Afghanistan and oversees human rights development work.

India has sent 50,000 metric tons of grains, 28 tons of disaster relief packages, 200 tons of medicines, vaccines, and other medical items to Afghanistan, and 11 thousand units of women’s health kits and blankets to women’s rehabilitation centres.

India is also a partner in the human rights work of the United Nations, providing women’s health kits and blankets to women’s rehabilitation centres.

The World Food Program has also provided humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people, providing food to 16 million people in the first half of this year. India is grateful to generous donors like India for making this possible.
