Tuesday (July 5) was a very important day for Maharashtra politics. The petition filed before the Election Commission by the Ajit Pawar faction claimed that in the party’s national executive meeting held on June 30, a resolution was passed that instead of Sharad Pawar, the command of the NCP would be in the hands of Ajit Pawar. Amidst all this, Sharad Pawar has now called a meeting of the National Executive in New Delhi on Thursday, 6th July.
This meeting of the National Executive is considered very important in many respects. Who is the real entitled of NCP, this is the biggest question at the moment. Ajit Pawar has the upper hand in terms of support of MLAs. Issues like insurgency in the party, command of the party, property, election symbol, and name of the party can be discussed in the National Executive meeting.
