Myanmar: Aung San Suu Kyi in hospital

Aung San Suu Kyi

Myanmar’s military government has taken, Aung San Suu Kyi out of prison and placed her under house arrest in a government hospital in the national capital Naypyitaw.

Radio Free Asia, funded by the US government, gave this information quoting a party functionary and a jail official.

A National League for Democracy official confirmed to RFA Burmese that Suu Kyi is being held at the official residence on condition of anonymity for security reasons.
