The Myanmar Corn Industrial Association (MCIA) plans to increase corn exports to China in 2023, with an expected export of 400,000 tons.

The association, which is Thailand’s top importer of Myanmar’s corn, aims to increase its share in the Chinese market.

Myanmar is expected to export 2 million tons of corn this year, with 1 million tons exported to Thailand during February-August.
