Pakistan: Petrol prices increased

The price of petrol and diesel has increased by about Rs 19 in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel on Tuesday. After the latest increase in the fuel price in Pakistan, now the price of petrol has increased to Rs 272.95 and diesel to Rs 273.40.

According to the report published in the Pakistani news website Dawn, the Finance Minister of Pakistan said that the prices of high-speed diesel and petrol have increased in the international market in the last 15 days.

He said that the government was making efforts as to how to reduce the increase in the price of petrol. He said that this has also been discussed with PM Shahbaz Sharif.

Diesel price has been increased by Rs 19.90. Now the new prices will be Rs 273.40 per litre. Petrol price has increased by Rs 19.95, now petrol will cost Rs 272.95 per litre.
