A 29-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at Oyo Hotel in Sector-27, Noida. He was staying with his girlfriend in the hotel, where he had a dispute with his girlfriend about something. After this, he took this step. Sector-20 police station, which reached the spot after getting the information about the incident, is probing the matter.

ACP Rajneesh Verma said that 29-year-old Vikrant Singh Chauhan, a resident of street number-3 of Chhalera village, stayed with his girlfriend at the Oyo Hotel in Sector-27 on Wednesday. During this, he had a dispute with his girlfriend over something. Due to this, he committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan in the hotel room. His girlfriend was out of the hotel at the time of the incident. When she returned, she saw Vikrant hanging.

After this, the information was given to the hotel staff and the police. The police team has sent the body for postmortem. The ACP told that the police is interrogating Vikrant’s female girlfriend. There was friendship between the two for a long time. The camera installed in the hotel is also being investigated.
