Russia attack Ukrainian blood transfusion centre: Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President  Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that a Russian-guided aerial bomb has struck a blood transfusion centre in north-eastern Ukraine. Zelensky said rescue workers were now trying to tackle the fire after the attack on the Kupiansk community in the Kharkiv region, the BBC reported. “Defeating terrorists is a matter of honor for every person who values life,” he said.

Russia has not yet commented on the alleged attack. In a post on social media, Zelensky described the perpetrators as “animals” who seek to destroy everything that allows life.” He added, “This crime itself tells everything about Russian aggression. He did not say how many people were killed or injured in the attack.
