South Korea: Fierce fire Seoul slum area, 500 people evacuated

There is a fierce fire in the slum area of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

500 people have been evacuated from the spot after the fire broke out. The fire broke out in southern Seoul’s Guryong area at around 6:27 a.m. Friday.

There are 660 more houses here. Around 290 fire personnel, 10 helicopters and teams of police have been pressed into service to douse the blaze, a fire official said.
