Southern Myanmar 5.1-Magnitude Earthquake: No Casualties Reported

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck southern Myanmar, causing no casualties, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

The epicentre was at 17.23 degrees north latitude and 96.32 degrees east longitude, 12 miles southwest of Bago.

The earthquake was felt in Yangon, the country’s commercial hub.
