Twitter-meta power struggle’s Battle

The controversy over the new ‘Threads’ platform brought by Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg to compete with Twitter is continuously increasing. Especially the CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, has expressed great displeasure about it. Now Musk has teased Zuckerberg on the pretext of this platform and played with his name.

Recently a Twitter account named Data Hazard shared a screenshot of the fast food chain Wendy’s threads. In this, Wendy’s mocked Elon Musk and Twitter. Wendy’s suggested to Zuckerberg that he should go into space to tease Musk. Zuckerberg reacted with a laughing emoji. It is worth noting that Elon Musk wants to launch a Mars mission through his company SpaceX in the coming years. In this way, this thread of Wendy’s appeared as a taunt on Musk’s SpaceX company.

Earlier, Twitter threatened legal action against Meta Platforms for its new Threads platform. Twitter’s lawyer Alex Spiro has also sent a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg regarding this. This whole controversy started over copyright. Twitter claims that the interface of Threads is similar to Twitter.

Apart from this, Twitter has a feature called Threads. When a long tweet is split into multiple parts, it is split into threads. In this case, Twitter has also claimed copyright. Meta has yet to comment on the report.

The funny thing is that this war between the two billionaires is continuously increasing after the launch of threads from Meta. Threads recently touched 100 million users and the number of threads is also increasing continuously. At the same time, Twitter’s decision to impose continuous limits on the platform has disappointed many users. In this way, people’s resentment towards Twitter is also increasing.

Threads are created by the Instagram team. Threads will also have a real-time feed. The features and interface of Threads are very similar to Twitter. Threads are now available in India as well. Threads can be downloaded from Google Play Store. If you already have a blue tick on Instagram, that is, if your Instagram account is already verified, then the Threads account will be verified automatically.

You can also download Threads for free from Apple’s App Store. In Threads, you can log in with your Instagram ID. You can import your entire Instagram data to the Threads app. In threads, you can post up to 500 characters including web links, photos (10 photos at a time) and videos of up to 1 minute.

You can block and follow someone in threads too. If you have blocked someone on Instagram, they will remain blocked on Threads as well. Threads currently do not support GIFS and “close friend” support. Apart from this, it currently does not have the feature of direct messaging.
