Ukraine receives $3.87 billion from partners for reforms

Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said that Ukraine has received $3.87 billion from its partners for the country’s rapid recovery.

The total amount includes $2.6 billion for the reconstruction of critical infrastructure, $837 million for the energy sector and $169 million for humanitarian mining projects, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported.

Marchenko stressed that rapid reconstruction is a key priority for the government, as it contributes to the country’s economic recovery and the creation of secure living conditions for its people.

The Ukrainian government estimates that $14.1 billion is needed this year for the country’s rapid recovery.
