During the Russia-Ukraine war, the troubles of President Vladimir Putin are increasing. Tanks have been deployed in Russia’s capital Moscow.
This has been done for the security of the Kremlin, as it is feared that there may be a coup in Russia. News agency TASS quoted sources as saying that military vehicles were seen on the streets of Moscow on Saturday night.
The private army Wagner Group decided to rebel
Russia’s private army Wagner Group has decided to revolt. After this, tension has arisen between the Russian army and the Wagner Group. At the same time, the Russian President is also worried about this and he is being informed by the authorities about every development regarding the coup attempt. The Kremlin has issued a statement saying that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are in constant contact with Putin.
There was a missile attack on the Wagner training camp in Bakhmut, Ukraine, and the head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, blamed the Kremlin for the attack. Prigozhin swore that we were going to Moscow and whoever entered our centres would be answerable for it.
Prigozhin claimed on Saturday morning that his forces had crossed into Russia from Ukraine and reached Rostov. He said he did not face protests from young soldiers at checkpoints and that his forces were not fighting against children.
“We are moving forward and will move to the end, but we will finish off anyone who gets in our way,” Prigozhin said in a video posted on social media late Friday. He claimed that the Chief of the General Staff, General Valery Gerasimov, sent warplanes to attack Wagner’s convoy, which was moving alongside normal vehicles. Prigozhin also said that his forces shot down a Russian military helicopter that fired on a civilian convoy.
