Vladimir Putin’s Arrest warrant issued

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The ICC indicted President Putin for war crimes. According to the BBC, children were illegally sent from Ukraine to Russia. Russia launched an attack on Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

However, he has been denying allegations of war crimes during the attack. Commenting on the arrest warrant against Putin, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented that the decision of the International Criminal Court has no legal meaning for her country.
