Accusing the central government of neglecting issues concerning the people, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) said on Tuesday that when Manipur was burning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a foreign trip instead of visiting the state.
Participating in the Lok Sabha debate on the no-confidence motion brought by Congress’s Gaurav Gogoi against the government, Saugata Roy of the Trinamool Congress said that today he has nothing to say about the Prime Minister personally, not about his education. There is nothing to say about the documentary or the Gujarat riots.
