Israel-Gaza war: Over 9,600 Children and 6,700 Women Killed

The Israel-Gaza war has resulted in over 9,600 deaths and 6,700 injuries in Gaza, with 45,000 rockets and bombs used in attacks since October 7. The overall death toll in Gaza has reached 22,300, with over 57,000 injuries recorded.

The Hamas government reported that 1.9 million people have been displaced and 65,000 tonnes of explosives have been used by Israel, damaging 290,000 homes. The Israeli army has stepped up air strikes and artillery shelling in the middle areas of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli bombing in the southern city of Khan Younis killed 14 members of a displaced family, while at least nine members of the Abu Hattab family were killed. Palestinian health authorities reported that dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured in Israeli raids on central and southern Gaza.

Israeli aircraft bombed a multistorey house in central Gaza, causing ambulances to be targeted and shot, forcing the crew to leave without transporting the injured. Israeli forces also conducted a second day of raids on Palestinian homes in the city of Tulkaram and its two camps, destroying the streets and alleys of the Tulkaram camp in several neighborhoods.

The occupation bulldozers were stationed in Al Muqata’a, Abu Al Foul, Hanoun Square, and Balawneh neighborhoods. Palestinian fighters and Israeli troops clashed in Tulkaram, resulting in large-scale operations in the West Bank.

The Israeli army discovered a tunnel near Hebron. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will begin a tour in the Middle East, including a stop in Israel, as tensions between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon escalate. US envoy Amos Hochstein will also visit Israel.
