Manang Air helicopter crash, Five people died in Solukhumbuko Likhupike Rural Municipality.

Manang Air NA-MBH helicopter, carrying 6 passengers carrying Solukhumbuko Surkeboat, flew to Kathmandu on Monday morning and lost contact at 10:01 AM.

Solukhumbuka Chief District Magistrate Basant Bhattaraile informed that the bodies of five people were found at the accident site. The team led by Assistant Inspector Niranjan Basnet of Veni Police Station has reached the helicopter crash site.

According to Prajia Bhattarai, the bodies of five people were found at the accident site and a search is on for one person. Also, the identity of the deceased has not been revealed, but more details are yet to come, according to his statement.

Rural Municipality President Meena Karki Basnetale wrote Pike Rural Municipality-5 Bhakanje to Lamjurako Chiyanddama about the helicopter being found in an accident.

Apart from the crew member on board the copter, five people have been confirmed to be Mexican nationals. The helicopters flown by Captain Chet Gurungale were Seafunt G. Fernando, Rincon Smar, Seafunt Maria, Gonzalez Olaclo and Zonjalex Abrik.

Captain CB Gurung and five Mexican nationals were killed in the accident. The deceased are Captain CB Gurung and Mexican nationals Seafunt G. Fernando, Rincon Smar, Seafunt Maria, Gonzalez Olaclo and Zonjalex Abric.

Six dead bodies were brought from two helicopters. Four dead bodies were brought from the first helicopter and two dead bodies from the second helicopter.
