India, Albania Foreign Minister holds a meeting; Emphasis on bilateral relations

Foreign Minister of India S. Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Albania, Olta Xhaçka. During this, there was a discussion on strengthening bilateral relations between the foreign ministers of both countries.

In fact, India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in the US on Sunday for a high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). During this, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is expected to meet UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and several heads of state.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also tweeted pictures of his meeting with Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka of Albania. He said that it was a pleasure to meet Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka. He further said that we value our close cooperation with the United Nations Security Council. We have discussed ways to strengthen our bilateral ties. Along with this, views on Ukraine and energy security have also been exchanged.

Participated in more than 50 events

Let us tell you that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will attend more than 50 official events including bilateral and multilateral meetings during his US visit. India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj and Consul General Randhir Jaiswal received External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on his arrival in the US on Sunday afternoon.

Jaishankar is on a 10-day US tour

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will address the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Saturday. During the 10-day US visit, India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will also participate in the Quad meetings made up of major groups from Australia, Japan and the US, BRICS and several others. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Jaishankar will be in New York from September 18 to 24. Whereas, he will visit Washington DC from 25 to 28 September.
